time shares

time shares
Time shares became popular in the 1980s but resulted in bankruptcy, court proceedings or simple disappointment and frustration for many people. ‘Time share’ refers to the selling and buying of the right to occupy a flat or house, usually for holidaying abroad, for specified weeks of each year. Time shares continue to be marketed heavily and promoted by aggressive selling techniques, in which a holiday or similar free gift is offered to any invited person who attends the hardsell pitches; these can last for several hours.
